The Business Unit Controller is responsible for efficiently implement all financial aspects during the preparation fase, implementation fase and closing fase of projects within the Business Unit.

As Senior Equipment Engineer you will be responsible for the important technical equipment in the installations. This counts for both rotating and static equipment, such as burners, pumps, barrels and tanks. You will draw up the specifications for components of the installation which the designers and buyers will  use as input.

NEM is currently introducing a PDM surrounding (SmarTeam). These surroundings have been coupled to our 3D CAD surroundings (CATIA). At the set-up and introduction there will be a core role for the Application administrat

The Construction Engineer is responsible for everything that is directly and indirectly linked with assembling activities, and reports to the Project- or Sales Manager.

The design Engineer cooperates in manufacturing a design of kettle components, on the basis of specifications of the customer, sales, project engineering and legal and IKZ standards. Because of this a detailed design can be made.

Our design department works entirely in 3D with ‘state of the art’ design software (CATIA). The Design Engineer creates the design of the kettle and kettle components where we experience as much as possible the strength of the design software, among other things such as the parametrisation of the design.

As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for the code calculations of the print parts and management system of the kettle installations. These withstand high pressures and temperatures: 200 bar pressure and 600 degrees temperature are not out of the ordinary.

As a Project Engineer Sales you are responsible for the design of complete waste heat boilers during the sales-phase as well as establishing complete technical propositions for potential clients.

The Project Manager Sales is responsible for the technical and commercial part of quotations for Heat Recovery Steam Generators for the regions and accounts assigned to him. This ranges from receiving the request for quotation (RFQ) to negotiating with the client and finalizing the contract.

As Supply Manager you are responsible for all supply related activities within a project. You coordinate the total logistic process to deliver everything on site on time, within budget and in accordance with specifications. With the Project Manager and Project Engineer you are in charge of the daily decisions concerning the project. You manage the involved Buyers, Expeditors, Subcontracting Engineers, Transport Coordinators and Inspectors. For the project you will make the purchase plan and take care of the preparations of the specific buying conditions.

NEM is currently introducing a 3D CAD (CATIA) system. For the set-up, introduction updating and continuation of the system the Application Engineer is responsible. You are the linking pin between the users, the ICT organization and other business units on this advanced design-system.

In a projectteam you make the decisions regarding the control and instrumentation concept of the boiler installation and you calculate and specify all the belonging components control valves, instruments etc.

You coordinate engineers who are responsible for the process design of boiler installations and specify all boiler equipment (including burners, pumps, silencers, safeties, valves etc.).

In the project team you are the one who decides on the mechanical design of boiler installations and specify complete boiler modules (including heating surfaces, piping, casing, etc.), steam drum, steel structures, flue-gas ducting and stacks. You coordinate/instruct engineering companies and subcontractors to finalize the basic and detailed engineering packages ready for fabrication.

As member of the project team you decide on pipe routing of the boiler installation, you specify the materials and determine the suspensions. You instruct/coordinate engineering companies and subcontractors who work out your plans regarding fabrication and delivery of the engineering.

The planning engineer supports the departments who are responsible for the realisation of projects. Besides that, the planning engineer also supports the department Sales during the sales stage.

During the implementation phase of energy projects, the pressure parts and piping engineer is responsible for the Code and pipestress calculations and the associated constructive design of various installations. You keep narrow contact with the constructers and you will lead them.

During the implementation phase of energy projects, the structural engineer is responsible for the calculations and the associated constructive design of various installations. You will work together with the mechanical Engineers and you will give them the guidelines for the boiler-structures.

As Mechanical Engineer you decide on the mechanical design of boiler installations within the Project Team and specify complete boiler modules (including heated surface, piping etc.) the steamdrums, the steal constructions, the flue waste heat conduit and the chimneys. You head engineering companies and subcontractors to make the basic and detail engineering package ready for production.

The supervisor manufacturing advises, monitors and instructs the (locally) subcontractors about the production process and safe guard that the product is manufactured in accordance with the agreed upon subcontract conditions.

The Project Manager Sales is responsible for the technical and commercial part of quotations for Heat Recovery Steam Generators for the regions and accounts assigned to him. This ranges from receiving the request for quotation (RFQ) to negotiating with the client and finalizing the contract.

Independently subcontracting manufacturing- and assembling- packages worldwide, in which the main goal is to work with the best manufacturing- and assembling partners on a project. This is your territory as a Buyer Subcontracting.

The department of Process & Equipment Engineering makes the numerical chart, also called Process Flow Diagram (PFD), for the installations based on the process designs definitions (the system description in words). After this chart is made, the Equipment Engineer can make the specifications of the equipment. These specifications are used as input for the Supply department to order the equipment, such as ventilators, pump, burners etc.

The Pressure Parts & Piping Engineer makes the mechanical design of all the pressure parts and piping for the boiler installations. During this process there will be close contact with the constructors from different departments. The main task is to make the best possible design for the pressure parts in the boiler installation, which meet all the specifications and codes.

As Planning Engineer Engineering you support the Engineering department with the planning of resources for the projects of NEM Industrial & Utility Boilers. The planning of the projects consists of a large amount of detail and a complex network of sepparate, underlying activities.

The Project Engineer is responsible for all the engineering activities for a project.

As a thermal process engineer you will be responsible for the conversion of customer’s process specifications for heat transfer equipment into matching thermal and hydraulic designs and the preparation of information transfer documents like performance tables, performance test procedures, process flow diagrams, process data sheets and system descriptions.
